30.01.2017 Dear colleagues! We draw your attention to the new numbering of the volumes of the journal from 2017!

Volume and current issues of the scientific journal Siberian Journal of Life Sciences and Agriculture are brought into line with international quality standards of scientific periodicals for the correct identification of journal issues.

In accordance with international standards for the publication of scientific journals, the numbering of the volume of the journal indicates the current year since the foundation of the journal. So, in 2017 the current volume number is volume 9, in 2018 volume 10 is expected, etc. 

The numbering of the volume does not change throughout the calendar year. The next issue of the publication is indicated by numbers.


18.01.2016 Open Access Policy

Since 2016 journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. 


01.12.2015 List of the Leading Peer-Reviewed Russian Scientific Journals 

Dear Colleagues! 

Siberian Journal of Life Sciences and Agriculture was included in the list of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and editions, approved by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles (the VAK) of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, for publishing essential scientific results of theses of the authors pursuing degrees of candidate and doctor of sciences. The journal was included in the list on December 01, 2015.

The journal was included in Agris and Chemical Abstracts international databases.


01.10.2015 New Editorial Board

At the end of 2015, Siberian Journal of Life Sciences and Agriculture was modified to meet the recommendations made by the international experts of the Scopus database. Since that time, the journal has been updated, which affected not only its design, but also the editorial board and reviewing staff, editorial policies, topics and principles for the selection of published articles. The members of the editorial board are acknowledged Russian and foreign scientists, who actively participate in the formation of the international profile of the journal. 

The Board now includes researchers from different Russian cities (Krasnoyarsk, Obolensk (Moscow Region), Moscow, Voronezh, Zernograd (Rostov Region), Saratov, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Penza, Yekaterinburg, Kemerovo, Kuibyshev (Novosibirsk Region)) and experts working abroad (Astana (Kazakhstan), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Kharkiv (Ukraine), Zaporozhye (Ukraine), Grodno (Belarus), Haifa (Israel)). At present, we are actively engaging foreign colleagues in collaboration and are aimed at renewing the editorial staff on a regular basis. To ensure the quality of the published papers, the journal has established strict ethical requirements for manuscripts that conform to the standards of the respected international associations. In addition, aggressive peer reviewing (i.e. double-blind peer review method) of all submitted manuscripts has been introduced. The articles accepted for publication go through a full cycle of editorial processing and proofreading.
